Shavaya HuskinsonShavaya Huskinson – Armstrong

Shavaya is a qualified Oral Health Therapist with an extended scope, allowing her to provide care for both adults and children across a wide range of general dental needs. She has a particular focus on preventive dentistry and minimal intervention care.

Shavaya began her dental journey as a Dental Assistant before completing her Bachelor of Oral Health at a university in Sydney in 2010. Since graduating, she has gained 14 years of experience working across Australia.

Shavaya is also part of the Swiss Dental Academy, where she trains dental practitioners in the latest Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) protocols using the advanced EMS Airflow.

Prophylaxis Master System. This innovative technology enables pain-free, high-quality dental care for patients worldwide. Her services also include providing dental education and screening programs.

After 14 years away, Shavaya is delighted to return to her hometown of Canberra. She looks forward to welcoming patients, delivering the latest in pain-free dental care, and training local dental practitioners in the ACT.


Monica VannasyMonica Vannasy

Monica is an Oral Health Therapist who is known for her warm, compassionate and calming nature. She has a special ability to help even the most anxious patients feel comfortable and at ease during their dental visits, creating a safe and supportive environment where patients feel genuinely cared for.

Monica began her dental career as a Dental Nurse in 2012 and has been dedicated to helping patients achieve healthier smiles ever since. She completed her Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy at Charles Sturt University in 2017 and further expanded her knowledge by completing a Graduate Diploma of Dermal Science through the Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science in 2023.

She enjoys working with patients of all ages and has a particular interest in the holistic management of periodontal disease. Monica is passionate about disease prevention, patient education and personalised care, believing that every dental experience should be enjoyable, educational and empowering.

As a proud member of the Oral Health Association of Australia, Monica is committed to ongoing professional development and staying up to date with the latest advancements in oral healthcare. She looks forward to helping patients feel relaxed, supported and confident throughout their oral health journey.
